What is the Apprenticeship Program?
This 8-week hand-tool woodworking program is designed for those who are tired of binge-watching YouTube videos and scrolling social media for woodworking “inspiration.” It’s for those who want to put their tools into action. The M&T apprenticeship is a structured, guided mentorship aimed to develop discipline, competence, and skill.
Do you find yourself scrolling aimlessly, wishing you had the skills to use hand tools effectively? The solution is not in searching for more “inspiration” – it’s in actually doing it yourself.
It’s time to commit to a disciplined practice. It’s time for an apprenticeship.

Many people in the past had a commanding physical ability. In a society much more connected to manual labor, most knew how to use their bodies and hands effectively.
But in our 21st-century digital “knowledge” work, many of us are disconnected from our own bodies and the world around us. We feel impotent and incapable.
A growing number of people feel the need to recover the skilled use of their hands.
